A little about the community:

Elliot Lake is the traditional territory of the Serpent River First Nation and Huron Robinson Treaty land. First Nation history and culture are prominent in the area and add to the rich history of our community.
The City of Elliot Lake became known for its uranium mining operations, which ran for approximately 40 years from the mid-1950s until the mid-1990s.
After the mines closed in the 1990s, the city transformed into one of the premier retirement communities in the province.
Located midway between Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie (the Soo) with bridge access to Michigan and 20 km north of the North Channel of Lake Huron.
Surrounded by natural beauty, Elliot Lake offers an abundance of lakes, hiking trails, snowmobiling and ATV trails, and a ski hill for year-round outdoor activities.
English and French spoken, French proficiency is helpful, but not required
